   Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time.  In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.  As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Bond 24 is likely to come out sometime in late 2014 or early 2015. This will be the 24th film in the James Bond series.

The contract with Daniel Craig as the Bond-actor reaches until Bond 24.The next 007 outing, Skyfall, is due for release this year, but the 24th move in the classic spy franchise has now been officially announced. The plans were revealed by the Sony Pictures president of worldwide distribution Rory Bruer at CinemaCon.

Bruer made the announcement following a screening of the teaser trailer for Skyfall, which revealed a sequence of quick-cut sequences from star Daniel Craig, alongside Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes.
The trailer begins with Bond apparently being interrogated, before cutting to a slew of action sequences. At the end of the trailer, Craig says: "Some men are coming to kill us. We've got to kill them first."

James Bond Series

The James Bond film series is a British series of spy films based on the fictional character of MI6 agent James Bond (code designation "007"), who originally appeared in a series of books by Ian Fleming. Earlier films were based on Fleming's novels and short stories, followed later by films with original storylines. It is one of the longest continually-running film series in history, having been in ongoing production from 1962 to the present (with a six-year hiatus between 1989 and 1995).In that time Eon Productions has produced 22 films, at an average of about one every two years, usually produced at Pinewood Studios. Six actors have portrayed 007 in the Eon series, with the Sean Connery films largely setting the style and mood of the series, and Roger Moore starring in the most films.

Production of the twenty-fourth James Bond film has been confirmed, with a release in cinemas towards the end of 2014. Christopher Nolan has displayed interest in directing the film.Daniel Craig has signed up for two more Bond films.
